Road Closure Notice
Dear Neighbors,
The annual Waterford Week Community Parade will be held on Sunday, August 15th, 2010, stepping off at 1:00 pm.
The route of the parade is down Great Neck Road to Rope Ferry Road and end in the Waterford High School Parking lot. Road Closures to Through Traffic will begin at 12:30 pm. All traffic including residents will be stopped at 12:50 pm for the Parade to begin. The following areas will be affected:
- Rope Ferry Road: Great Neck Road to Boston Post Road
- Rope Ferry Commons
- Great Neck Road: Rope Ferry Road to Deerfield Road
- Jordan Terrace
- Governors Landing
- Village Drive
- Colonial Drive & Williamsburg Drive
- Laurel Crest Drive
This is done for safety reasons, to protect our kids and our neighbors who are in the parade. For a period of much less than 90 minutes, road access will be restricted until the parade has past. We appreciate your cooperation and regret any inconvenience the road closures may cause. If you have any questions, please contact Cathy Newlin.
